Mother's Day and the Final Day

Today was the fourth day of the KWN Training Camp. It is also the day where:
1)Mother's Day occur
2)The whole KWN trainees go to FRIM
3)The day of our second assignment
4)The day where Pinnacle had shown its hate towards me.

Mother's Day is today. Now, I want you to imagine a sad scene of a crying bloke under a canopy in a heavy rain. Sounds so cliche'? That exact same event occurred to me as I call my mom and wished her. I felt like crying because my mom had been waiting for my call since Day 1, I finally had a chance to contact my mother and also the fact that we (KWN trainee) are going to separate.

Yeah, we're (KWN trainees are going to separate. Doesn't matter if you're my roommate or my best friend at camp, we're going to split up and that's that. If there was another KWN for me then it's okay. But this is my last time in the camp, not to mention it's my first time too. Rest assured, it's going to be one of the most memorable memories etched to my mind.

Let's make the room silent and think about this for a sec. A national camp, wings spread across Malaysia, ganging up for five days, and then splitting up as rivals in a competition organised by the organiser of the camp itself. And after that, it's not like you can see your rivals/friends in person anymore. If that is not enough, not all competitors get it to finals. So if I get to finals, I have a chance to miss out on meeting Hilman or Thiiban had they not been taken into the stage.

Ironic, isn't it?

Anyway, for our second assignment, all we had to do is to shoot something, be it docummentary, PSA, drama, what have you? Like always, one hour is never enough, and with a few people actually taking over the camera schematics (Take note; I'm a director), the shooting didn't feel that............. un-pressurised.

Dudette, I came up with the concept at 2 AM, I came up with the script at 5 AM, I came up with the directing prepositions at 7 AM. I lead, you follow. Aren't you supposed to be with the teachers anyway? This is KWN, Kids Witness News, not APWN, All-People Witness News.

If that wasn't enough, I edited the video since we got back into the ballroom till 8 PM. I skipped my teabreak and my lunch. If that wasn't enough, the computer crashed before my very eyes. If that wasn't enough, my editings and all was lost. If that wasn't enough, I only have a 1 minute gap between passing-up and editing time.

If that wasn't enough, my group was deselected from the list of done assignments, therefore cancelling our chances of getting the prize. If that wasn't enough, my piece that I see as one of the best I came up with didn't get shot. If that wasn't enough, I had to go through the day wasting 6 precious hours of my life.

If that wasn't enough............. I'll stop there.
