KWN Training Camp

Ahh, finally I can find the tranquility to blog. It's silent, beautiful silence at that. The only thing that I can hear is my typing, my brain and that noisy air-conditioner.

I'm in the KWN Training Camp, SMK USJ 13's representative along with Aina Nabilah. Our teacher is Pn. Suria. My group is Group 4. That's the basic idea.

On the first day, everything was new to me. But, instead of silencing myself and practically killing my chance to actually bond with other people, I did something that a hikkikomori (However you spell that?) can never do; I talked with people. Converse, converse, converse, and you have one of the most sociable people around (Narcissism alert).

Bee Tee Dabal-You, I learnt a lot about film making, so this goes to show how much I am lacking in Film-Making Intelligence (For this session, I'ma call it FMI). I got to pass it around though, the facilitators and the lecturers alike are spectacular geniuses =)

As stated two paragraphs above, I bonded with a few new friends, the closest being:

On the third day came our first assignment; Make an interview. That's not a hard topic, but being someone who likes to Do-It-All-Yourself (DIAY), I have a hard time being an actor only. In the end, I also took a few shots, gave directions to the cameragirl (Aina), written the scripts. But I've to say, instead of getting tired of multitasking, my mind is relieved from the stress of taking on one role only.

This just goes to show that if I ever, ever, had my own production team, rest assured I'll be everything, just like Steven Spielberg/George Lucas.

The end product? It had a love/hate reaction on the judges it seems. One of them likes it, one of them does not. I think I'll be uploading that to Youtube if I ever got a chance. Our topic? "Bad Habits in the Hotel"

We'll be having a new assignment tomorrow (Technically, today since it's 1.30 AM), I suppose after my superb (Narcissist alert) performance, they, my group members would probably elect me as the director. I'm not sure whether I'll hold the editor role again.

Alright, it's time for me to leave to my awesome bed to my awesome sleep, as I'll be waking up at 5. That means.......
